Beautiful Complaint

I loved the poetry in it. Few simple words and so meaningful mashaa’Allah.

This nasheed reminded me of Imam Bukhari (R)’s end and of Imam Ahmad (R). And also of all the times righteous people have been misunderstood in the process of giving Da’wah. Of course, it can have personal relevance too. Husn ad-dhann is so important and it can be quite painful when people constantly misinterpret what you say..Some people whom Allah SWT has blessed with goodness abundantly remain steadfast in their patience. And these are the successful ones, who forgive and forget. Easier said than done but totally worth a try for Jannah awaits such people inshaa’Allah.

But to me nothing personal’s more hurtful than people whom you care for cut you off just because you care enough to tell them what’s right and what’s wrong. They reject not you but Allah SWT’s Words. SubhanAllah, what a major tragedy.

Anyway, really liked the manner of complaint so shared it. I guess it is a valuable lesson for all of us. And we can link it to how Prophet Ayyub AS complained to Allah SWT in the manner not displeasing to Him.

And (remember) Ayyub, when he cried to his Lord: “Verily, distress has seized me and You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy.” So We answered his call, and We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored his family to him (that he had lost), and the like thereof along with them as a mercy from Ourselves and a Reminder for all who worship Us. And (remember) Isma’îl (Ishmael), and Idris (Enoch) and Dhul-Kifl (Isaiah), all were from among As-Sâbirun (the patient). And We admitted them to Our Mercy. Verily, they were of the righteous. [Surah Al- Anbiyya, 21: 83-86]

And Allah SWT knows best.
