A Message to True Muslims:You’re not Alone!

You may not dress like them.

You may not think like them.

You may not want to engage in frivolous talks like them.

You may not want to feel like them.

You may want to get angry when they riducle  the Sunnah ignorantly.

You may want to yell at them because of the danger they’re putting themselves in.

You may want to grab them by their shoulders and put some sense into them.

You may be the only voice in the echoes of million ignorant voices.

You may want to leave this  part of the dunia and find a refuge where you may not want to see them again.

But you care so much that it hurts…

You may even, for a second, wish to adopt their ways to make yourself more popular for certain aims.

You may want to just give up…

As you tread the road to modesty and humility, you may end up as a stranger amongst huge crowds of Muslimahs. No need to worry, find comfort in the Prophetic words:

“Islam began as something strange, and it shall return to being something strange, so give glad tidings to the strangers.” [Muslim]

Please don’t leave your mission. Because your mission is to convey and hence please Him. Fortunately, His Pleasure is not dependent on people’s pleasure in these circumstances. Know that this has been the Prophetic tradition. Prophets come and go, yet the nations mock them. Adorn yourself with even more humility. Had it not been Allah SWT’s special mercy on you, you would’ve been like them:

“They are deaf, dumb, and blind, so they return not (to the Right Path).” [2:18]

Seek refuge from such a self-destructive life and never ever be arrogant. Arrogance got Iblees(who was a righteous slave initially) out of the fold of His Mercy. You don’t want to be Iblees now, do you?

At the same time, you must strive and you must continue and not not seclude yourself:

“A Muslim who meets with others and shares their burdens is better than one who lives a life of seclusion and contemplation.” (Muslim)

[a humble request to the true Muslimahs out there, I know it’s hard but you’re not alone]

May Allah SWT give us all the patience to survive in this dunia without being a target of humiliation and may we be able to give true justice to the dignity of Islam.Ameen.

And Allah SWT knows best.
